Korean Medical Association of Georgia

The origin of the Korean Medical Association of Georgia is lost to the winds of time. The organization started in the 1970’s when Korean physicians who had settled in Georgia decided to get together for fellowship, camaraderie and support. These meetings provided them a place and time to share their stories in their native language and to network and support each other. Since that time, the KMA of Georgia has grown and now includes multiple generations of Korean physicians, including many second generation Koreans. The language now used is mostly English, but the same fellowship, camaraderie and support still exists today.
